  • SAMSHA’s National Helpline: 1-800-662-HELP (4357) 

    • The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and focuses on efforts to help elevate behavioral health across the nation. Their hotline is a confidential, free, 24-hour service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental health concerns and / or substance misuse.

  • SEPIA (South-East PA AA Meetings) 

    • The Southeastern Pennsylvania Intergroup Association of Alcoholics Anonymous provides local AA meeting information in Philadelphia and surrounding counties. Click on the link to find a meeting or call someone at their 24/6 helpline at 215-923-7900.  

  • NAMI Main Line  

    • NAMI Main Line is the local branch of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Use this website to find local support, information, and Guides to Services for all types of mental health concerns in Southeastern Pennsylvania. 

Interpersonal Violence  

  • RAINN 

    • RAINN is a national anti-sexual violence organization which operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline. In addition, RAINN offers public education, policy work, and more.   

  • Love is Respect 

    • Love is Respect is a national resource to disrupt and prevent unhealthy relationships and intimate partner violence by empowering young people through inclusive and equitable education, support, and resources. Love is Respect offers 24/7 information, support, and advocacy to young people who have questions or concerns about romantic relationships through free and confidential phone, text, and live chat.   

  • One Love Foundation 

    • The One Love Foundation empowers young people with the tools and resources they need to see the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and provides prevention education to their communities.   

  • National Dometic Violence Hotline 

    • The National DV Hotline operates 24/7 via phone, text, and live chat. Services are free and confidential.  

  • National Network to End Domestic Violence 

    • NNEDV is a social change organization that offers services around economic justice, technology safety, legal advocacy, housing options, and more.  

  • National Sexual Violence Resource Center 

    • NSVRC is a national organization that provides information and tools to prevent and respond to sexual violence.   

  • Stalking Prevention, Awareness, and Resource Center 

    • SPARC is a resource for victim service providers, campuses, law enforcement agencies, and other places where stalking victims come for help and support.   

  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 

    • The CDC’s Division of Violence Prevention focuses on preventing violence and its consequences, so all people, families, and communities are safe, healthy, and free from violence. The CDC offers research and information to help state and local partners plan, implement, and evaluate violence prevention efforts and identify factors that put people at risk for violence.   

  • Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape 

    • PCAR is a state coalition that works to eliminate all forms of sexual violence and to advocate for the rights and needs of victims of sexual assault.   

  • Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence 

    • PCADV is a state coalition that works in collaboration with local programs to deliver a continuum of services, support, and systems to help victims and survivors find safety, obtain justice, and build lives free of abuse.

  • Advocates for Youth 

    • Advocates for Youth provides comprehensive sexuality education resources. One of their programs includes AMAZE, which offers short videos on a variety of sexual health and relationship topics. 

  • Sex, Etc. 

    • Sex, Etc. is a youth-led sexuality education resource providing education on topics such as birth control, HIV and STIs, pregnancy, and relationships. 

  • Scarleteen: Sex Ed for the Real World 

    • Scarleteen offers comprehensive sexuality education via articles and direct services. Find community and speak to experts via live chat, message boards, and a SMS text line.
